Due to the increases on everything associated with our Motel we are forced to increase our room rates. This is the first time we have done this. Know that we are still lower than everywhere because we care about you getting away! Get away from your crazy busy life to a place that is staged in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Where everyone waves and the rooms are themed. Listen to old fashioned country music and sit by an open fire. Our rooms are filled with old fashioned items and photos.
It's time to make new family traditions. Each room is themed and we even take old west photos on the property. Super festive, super fun!!

Celebrate whatever season you like...fall leaves, snow, sunshine. We have it all. Accessible no matter what time of year. Great fishing, hunting, hiking, quad and snowmobile trails. Where the grass is green and joy and kindness are continuous. Our door is always open.
Each room are at least double the size of the average 200 square foot standard sized rooms in nearly every place you stay. People are shocked and pleased at the sizes and the space.
We have rooms for all budgets ranging from 50.00 to 120.00 per night (plus tax)
Our rooms are suites with exception to the 50.00 one. Cable, WiFi, coffee, microwave, fridge, bar-b-que for guest use & most of the comforts of home but better. You will feel like you are in a different place and time.
Pets
We do accept dogs for our rooms. The fee is 10.00 per pet per night. You pick up the poop and that stands for our entire towns yards too please. This is a leash place for the safety of our other guests and also throughout the entire town.
Cancellation policy
Sumpter Stockade Motel has one of the most amazing cancellation policies in the industry of lodging. You must cancel at least 24 hrs prior to your scheduled check-in otherwise you will be charged.
At times there are extenuating circumstances and we do our best to rent them out to avoid charging you but in the end we still have business expenses so if that isn't possible then unfortunately like any business you will be charged.
We reserve the right to refuse service to those of our choosing ...so... as long as you are good to us and our guests... we will be as accommodating as possible which we do for all of our guests. Our return rate of our guests are very high and we keep the old fashioned treatment going which everyone needs.

For those that are camping, hunting, or dry camping we have a shower that you can use. Shower time is 9:00-8:00pm
We love our customers, so feel free to visit. You are free to look at any open room.
